Clean Bandit

Clean Bandit is a British group who are best known for their singles “Mozart’s House” which debuted at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart and “A+E” that reached number 100. The band was founded in 2009.

2006-2009: Formation
Band members Jack Patterson, Grace Chatto and Milan Neil Amin-Smith met while studying as undergraduates at Jesus College, University of Cambridge.

2012-present: Breakthrough
In December 2012 the group released their first single “A+E” peaking to number 100 on the UK Singles Chart. On February 29, 2012 they released the video online for their single “UK Shanty”, featuring Cambridge contemporary and supermodel Lily Cole. On March 29, 2013 they released the single “Mozart’s House” the song has peaked to number 17 on the UK Singles Chart, making it their first Top 20 single in the UK.
